All Elite Wrestling has officially locked in a multi-year deal to run events in Australia through 2029. The five-year agreement is in partnership with TEG Sport, with the news first being revealed by Wrestle Radio Australia earlier on Thursday.
This major commitment follows AEW’s highly successful Australian debut this past February. That event at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre pulled in a gate of over $1.3 million, which at the time marked the third-largest in the company’s history.
Under the new deal, which was signed last year, AEW has already scheduled its return tour. The company will present “Grand Slam” in Sydney at the Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, February 14th, followed by “House Rules” the next night, Sunday, February 15th, back at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The partnership is with TEG Sport, a division of TEG that “is responsible for helping major global brands break new markets in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom and the United States.” (h/t Wrestle Radio Australia)
