The rivalry between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley reached a violent new peak at AEW All Out, culminating in a horrifying backstage ambush where Allin set the former world champion on fire.
The segment occurred later in the show, long after their match had concluded. A gloating Jon Moxley was standing beside the coffin used in their bout when Darby Allin suddenly burst out from inside it. Allin blasted Moxley with a metal pipe, zipped the downed star into a body bag, doused it with an accelerant, and set it ablaze.
Backstage officials immediately rushed in with a fire extinguisher to douse the flames as security dragged a furious Allin away.
This extreme act of retaliation was a direct response to the controversial finish of their Coffin Match earlier in the evening. Moxley secured the victory only after the surprise return of PAC, who re-emerged to rejoin his Death Riders stablemates.
“The Bastard” interfered on Moxley’s behalf, attacking Allin and stuffing him into a body bag before placing him in the coffin. This allowed Moxley to simply shut the lid and claim the win, prompting Allin’s fiery reprisal as he was heard screaming “Burn! Burn!” at his rival.
The fight rages on backstage between @JonMoxley and @DarbyAllin, and it ends in FLAMES!
