AEW To Scrap Significant Company Tradition

For the first time in its post-pandemic history, All Elite Wrestling is moving its annual Thanksgiving Eve edition of Dynamite away from the Chicago area. The company has announced that the special event on Wednesday, November 26, will now emanate from The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.

This move marks a significant shift from a long-standing company tradition. Chicago had been the traditional home for the pre-Thanksgiving show nearly every year since AEW’s inception, with the only prior exception occurring in 2020 when the broadcast was held at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville due to pandemic-related restrictions.

The event in Nashville will be a double-header, as a special Thanksgiving episode of Collision is also scheduled to be taped on the same night. Broadcast information for this taping has not yet been confirmed by the company. The show will take place at The Pinnacle, a new 4,500-seat venue that opened in February 2025.

These tapings are positioned to feature the immediate fallout from AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, in New Jersey. Promotional materials for the Nashville shows already feature several of the company’s champions, including World Champion Hangman Page, Women’s Champion Toni Storm, and Tag Champions Bandido & Brody King, along with Kris Statlander.

In a related announcement, AEW also confirmed the location for its go-home episode of Dynamite before the pay-per-view. That show will take place on November 19 at the Agganis Arena in Boston.

Tickets for both the Nashville and Boston events are set to go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 8.
