AJ Lee Shares Big Announcement Amid WWE Return Rumors
AJ Lee unveiled “Aimee Comes First” at San Diego Latino Film Festival while fans continue to speculate about a possible WWE return alongside husband CM Punk.

Former WWE standout AJ Lee has unveiled her latest creative venture far from the squared circle, even as return rumors continue to swirl among the WWE faithful.
Lee’s production company Scrappy Heart Productions premiered their short film “Aimee Comes First” at the 32nd annual San Diego Latino Film Festival last weekend.
The three-time Divas Champion took to social media to celebrate the milestone for the 16-minute short starring her business partner Aimee Garcia, who also directed the project.
“Our short film AIMEE COMES FIRST premiered at San Diego Latino Film Festival. So proud of writer/director/my baby mama @Aimee_Garcia @ScrappyHeartPro,” Lee shared with red carpet photos from AMC Mission Valley.

The Geek Goddess has remained largely absent from wrestling since her last match on March 30, 2015, when she teamed with Paige and Naomi to defeat The Bella Twins and Natalya.
Lee and Garcia formed their creative partnership in 2019, with the former FCW Queen focusing on writing and producing rather than in-ring action.
Fan speculation about a potential comeback has intensified since husband CM Punk made his WWE return in late 2023, though Lee has shown no signs of lacing up her boots again.
While many former champions have answered WWE’s call during WrestleMania season, AJ seems content building her legacy outside the ropes through storytelling in a different medium.
