Bill Goldberg amassed an undefeated streak of 173-0 during his run in WCW. One of his matches during this period took place at Halloween Havoc 1998 against Diamond Dallas Page.

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Goldberg recalled Page’s detailed match preparation approach.

Dallas came to me with 14 pages of a match and I think he wanted me to spear him seven times. Prior to that, I only speared anybody one time. Sting, being Sting, said, ‘You know what Bill, I think that was one of the best matches and best decisions of your life.’

Goldberg reflected on his past character decisions.

You can look at it myopically or you can look at it in its totality. Business-wise, I should have made more of those decisions. I shouldn’t have been so protective of my character. A lot of people say, ‘You’re a mark for yourself,’ right? I was a mark for myself because nobody else had my back. Nobody. I came in as a professional football player and I tried to take dudes jobs that have been in the sport and business since childhood because that’s the only thing they ever wanted to do, and it meant so much to them. I took that for granted a little bit. I always came in it with a different mentality. At the end of the day, if I didn’t have that different mentality, I wouldn’t have been what I was, and what I was, was something different. I think I was fairly successful at it. I still haven’t seen people do some of the stuff I was able to do.

Goldberg’s retirement match is scheduled for 2025.

Jey Uso wrestled Austin Theory in a brief match on Monday Night RAW. The contest ended when Uso connected with a “crossbody”, followed by a dive over the top rope onto A-Town Down Under.

Some WWE fans expressed criticism over the match duration and execution on social media platforms.

Uso shared a photo on his Instagram story showing fans reacting positively to his presence in the ring. He captioned the image with one word: “COLD.”

WWE has scheduled Uso and a mystery partner to face A-Town Down Under in tag team action next week on Raw.

Gunther previously promised “weeks of hell” for Uso after his World Heavyweight Championship challenge at WrestleMania 41. The Ring General has since attempted to target Uso during recent Raw broadcasts.

John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber 2025, aligning with The Rock and attacking WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. The moment marked Cena’s first villainous turn in his 20-year WWE career.

Travis Scott’s involvement in the segment drew criticism from fans, particularly after reports emerged about Rhodes sustaining an injury during the interaction.

Kevin Nash addressed the alliance formation during his Kliq This podcast, suggesting a different name for the group’s third member.

Have Randy Orton join Cena and Rock… I don’t think Travis Scott is the right guy to be out there as the third. You would have to have somebody come back, like if you could get [Steve] Austin or Undertaker if they had a year left in them, then you could get that. You know what I mean? Then it’s a different era. It’s none of the new guys. But we’ve all timed out. I think Randy looks amazing right now.

Orton will likely challenge Cena during his retirement tour, which concludes in December.
