Alexa Bliss shares emo-themed holiday message during WWE absence

Alexa Bliss connected with fans through social media today, sharing a festive message during her extended WWE hiatus. The former champion has been absent from television since her Royal Rumble 2023 match against Bianca Belair, which ended with an ominous appearance by Uncle Howdy.

Bliss, who welcomed her first child with husband Ryan Cabrera last November, posted a holiday-themed message on Instagram:

Wrestling veteran predicts dark return

ECW veteran Francine recently discussed Bliss’s potential WWE comeback on her Eyes Up Here podcast, suggesting an early 2025 return with a dramatic character shift:

I predict that she’s gonna come back in 2025; early part of the year. I feel like she’s gonna get so over. She’s gonna be so over with the crowd, but she’s gonna turn, and she’s gonna be a heel.

Francine also explored the possibility of Bliss becoming involved with The Wyatt Sicks storyline:

Anytime somebody’s gone for an extensive amount of time, you’re gonna get a babyface reaction. But I don’t think they’re gonna keep her as a babyface. I think she’s gonna come back as a heel. That’s the way I wanna see her come back. So, maybe she’ll have something to do whether she’s a part of their troop or whether she’s like a rival to them.
