Andrade Breaks Silence After Surprise AEW Return

The former WWE and AEW star made his surprise return on the October 1, 2025 edition of Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega and aligning himself with Don Callis. Hours later, he summed up his comeback with a single word on social media: “Business!!”

The moment came during the sixth-anniversary episode of Dynamite. After Omega and Brodido defeated The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander in a six-man tag, Omega cut a post-match promo. Suddenly, the arena went dark. Suddenly, the arena went dark. When the lights came back, a masked figure was standing behind Omega.

It was Andrade. He pulled off the mask, went straight for Omega, and left him laid out. Callis then entered the ring, extended his hand, and Andrade shook it—officially joining Callis’ faction and launching himself back into the main event picture.

Andrade’s return comes just weeks after leaving WWE on September 13. According to Fightful Select, he has signed a full-time deal with AEW, and because he wasn’t under a non-compete clause, the company was able to debut him immediately.

This is Andrade’s second run with AEW. His first stint ended in December 2023, before he jumped to WWE in January 2024. That run, reported by Jon Alba, ended due to disciplinary issues. Now, Andrade makes history as the first wrestler to sign with AEW, leave for WWE, and then rejoin AEW on a full-time basis.
