TNA has announced that the new Knockouts World Champion, Ash By Elegance, will address the audience on this Thursday’s episode of iMPACT!. Her appearance comes just days after she captured the title at the NXT Heatwave event this past Sunday.
The championship victory took place in a Triple Threat Match where Ash defeated NXT’s Jacy Jayne and fellow TNA star Masha Slamovich. The win was a significant moment, bringing a major TNA title back to a TNA-contracted wrestler on a WWE-branded show.
The match’s conclusion saw heavy interference from Ash’s faction, The Elegance Brand. As Jayne was about to secure a pin on Slamovich, she was pulled from the ring by members of The Elegance Brand. This allowed Ash to hit a swanton bomb on Slamovich for the win. Earlier in the bout, Jayne’s own allies, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley of Fatal Influence, had been ejected from ringside. With this victory, The Elegance Brand now holds both the Knockouts World Championship and the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.
