Bayley publicly condemned a new match graphic of herself that aired during the September 29th episode of WWE Raw. In a social media post made shortly after the broadcast, the former Grand Slam Champion expressed her frustration with the render used ahead of her match against Raquel Rodriguez.
“AND WHOSE a–es AM I WHOOPIN FOR PUTTING THIS UP?!?!!!!!!! COME ON I GOT FRIENDS WATCHING ME ON NETFLIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Bayley wrote.
The reference to Netflix highlights the superstar’s awareness of Raw’s expanded global audience. Bayley later shared messages from friends who were teasing her about the new graphic, prompting a second post that read, “OKAY YOU GUYS ARE GETTING OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!” This is not the first time the four-time Women’s Champion has been vocal about her digital portrayal, as she previously criticized her character model in the WWE 2K24 video game for not accurately reflecting her appearance.
Onscreen, the incident with the graphic occurred on a night where Bayley was defeated by Rodriguez. The loss comes as Bayley continues a complex angle involving a split personality and a volatile relationship with Lyra Valkyria. During the same episode, in a shift from her recent hostility, Bayley was seen embracing the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion, leaving the future of their alliance uncertain.
