Bayley discussed her 2024 Royal Rumble victory during a recent appearance on Jazzy’s World TV. The WWE Women’s Champion reflected on joining the select group of female Superstars who have won the annual premium live event match.
The 35-year-old became the seventh woman to win a Royal Rumble match when she outlasted 29 competitors in the 2024 edition. Asuka, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Ronda Rousey are the other women who previously secured this achievement since WWE introduced the women’s version in 2018.
During the interview, Bayley spoke about the significance of her victory and briefly addressed her WWE future.
Whether you watch WWE or not, everybody knows what the Royal Rumble is. So, to say that I have won one of those, man, I could retire tomorrow and I’ll be good. I’ve still got a long way to go, and I’m very proud of that moment.
Following her Royal Rumble triumph, Bayley went on to defeat her former Damage CTRL stablemate IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL, capturing the WWE Women’s Championship.
