Following a string of eerie solo promos, Bayley has posted a backstage photo with former Damage CTRL members, sparking speculation just months after the group's official disbandment.

Bayley Teases Damage CTRL Reunion With Cryptic Social Media Post

Bayley has hinted at a potential major reunion, posting a cryptic backstage picture on X/Twitter featuring her former Damage CTRL stablemates. The post comes after a turbulent period for the “Role Model,” who has been cutting solitary, unsettling promos on Monday Night RAW following her actions at SummerSlam, where she cost Lyra Valkyria the Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch.

The tease is particularly noteworthy given that Damage CTRL was officially declared “no more” by IYO SKY on the June 23, 2025, episode of Raw. The group’s quiet dissolution began internally in early May, a decision that coincided with the WWE release of founding member Dakota Kai.

The faction’s end was the culmination of several months of decay. Bayley herself was the first to depart, having been forced out of the group she founded in the lead-up to her WrestleMania 40 match against IYO SKY. Subsequent injuries to both Asuka and Kairi Sane left SKY as the sole active member for a period, accelerating the stable’s collapse.

While Bayley appears to be reminiscing about her former allies, the other members have moved in a different direction. Asuka and Kairi Sane, The Kabuki Warriors, have already reunited on WWE programming. The duo officially reformed on the July 7 episode of Raw and have since been scheduled for a Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

Damage CTRL was originally formed at SummerSlam in 2022 and became a dominant force in the women’s division. During their run, SKY and Dakota Kai held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice, and SKY successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam 2023 to become WWE Women’s Champion.
