Becky Lynch Finally Confirms WrestleMania 41 Participation Status
Becky Lynch clarifies her wrestling status during Ultimate Improv Show, responding to rumors about potential WrestleMania 41 appearance.

Former WWE performer Becky Lynch has definitively addressed speculation regarding her status for WrestleMania 41 during an appearance at a comedy event. The wrestling world has been buzzing with rumors about her potential return to the ring since reports emerged of a new contract signing earlier this year.
Lynch made her position clear while serving as Guest Monologist at the Ultimate Improv Show on April 11. When the topic of wrestling’s biggest showcase arose, she stated:
It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it? Look, I’m not wrestling anymore. Maybe someday, but not right now. But my husband is!
The straightforward comment confirms Lynch will not be competing at WrestleMania 41, scheduled for April 19-20. This addresses rumors that began circulating after industry reports suggested she had signed a new WWE contract in January 2025, following the expiration of her previous deal in June 2024.
Lynch has remained away from WWE programming since her contract ended last year. The timing of the reported January signing fueled speculation among fans that the company might be positioning her for a surprise appearance at their premier annual event.
While her statement at the comedy show rules out an immediate in-ring return, Lynch’s phrasing leaves the possibility open for a future comeback. Her specific mention that she’s “not wrestling anymore” but adding “maybe someday” maintains intrigue about when audiences might see her perform again.
Her husband, fellow WWE performer Seth Rollins, remains active with the company and is scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 41.
