Bianca Belair Breaks Character While Discussing Potential Heel Turn

Bianca Belair addressed speculation regarding a potential heel turn during a virtual media event ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber. The comments came amid ongoing fan theories connecting Belair to the backstage attack on Jade Cargill that occurred in November.
Three months after the incident on SmackDown, WWE official Nick Aldis provided Naomi and Bianca Belair with information suggesting Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were at the scene of Cargill’s attack. Despite this development, some fans continue to speculate that either Naomi, Belair, or both might have been involved.
During the media session, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful asked Belair about her thoughts on potentially turning heel in the future.
I never say never, but what I will say is that it would have to be something substantial and a bigger picture to it just because I feel like being a successful babyface, a babyface who is consistently able to keep their name at the top of the conversation, it very hard to get it. Once you get it, you don’t really want to let go of that. The longer you can hold on to that, if that heel turn happens, the bigger that heel turn will be. If that does happen, I want to be the heel that people would not like. I don’t know if I’m ready for that or if everybody else is ready for that. It’s one thing when I hear fans say, ‘I love so and so as a heel.’ When I hear ‘love’ and ‘heel’ in the same sentence, that doesn’t work for me.
Belair and Naomi currently hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and are scheduled to defend the titles on WWE RAW. Their opponents, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez of The Judgment Day, would become the first three-time champions in the title’s history if they win.
