Bronson Reed provides injury update following WarGames incident

Bronson Reed has suffered an ankle fracture requiring surgery following his high-risk maneuver at Survivor Series: WarGames. The injury occurred when CM Punk interrupted Reed’s attempted Tsunami Splash from the cage structure, causing him to land awkwardly while targeting Roman Reigns.

The 36-year-old underwent surgery on December 11, altering previously planned storylines. Reports indicate Reed was scheduled to continue his rivalry with Seth Rollins, who is now set to face CM Punk at RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.

Reed, displaying his characteristic humor during recovery, responded to WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn’s playful social media threat about stepping on a Lego:

Well it’d only be one foot atm.

Limited role planned for Netflix premiere

While Reed plans to attend RAW’s Netflix premiere in Los Angeles, his participation will be restricted to non-physical appearances.

The former North American Champion’s recovery period is expected to extend through WrestleMania 41, significantly impacting his role with Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline.
