Charlotte Flair meets with NXT stars during WWE backstage visit
Charlotte Flair shared a moment with Meta-Four members during a WWE backstage visit as she continues recovery from knee surgery.
Charlotte Flair made a backstage appearance at a recent WWE event, connecting with NXT talent during her injury recovery. Flair shared a photo alongside Meta-Four members Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on social media.
The 14-time Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE programming since December 2023, when she sustained multiple knee injuries in a match with Asuka. Her surgery addressed tears in her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
In her social media post, Flair referenced her preference for being part of a “bad b*tch girl gang” rather than aspiring to be a princess. Legend responded to Flair’s statement on X/Twitter:
Let em know Queen… while you stunt on ’em!!!!
Former WWE star projects different Royal Rumble winner
Former WWE performer Aiden English offered an alternative prediction for the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match outcome. During an appearance on Rebooked Wrestling, English suggested Piper Niven as a potential winner instead of favorites like Flair or Becky Lynch.
English explained his reasoning for selecting Niven on the podcast:
Solely because I think – I don’t think this will really, really happen – but I think a fun thing with the introduction of the women’s midcard titles could be this: Again, nobody would do this, but given the length of time Piper and Chelsea have been together, and to really put some importance on that US Title, use that Royal Rumble win to cash in on a US Title shot at, like, a WrestleMania.
The 2025 Royal Rumble takes place on February 1 in Indianapolis.
