Chris Jericho Doesn’t Rule Out WWE Return in the Future

Chris Jericho has not ruled out the possibility of a WWE return in the future, offering candid remarks about his career options during his appearance at HRWF 2025. The veteran performer, who has been instrumental in AEW’s development since the promotion launched in 2019, addressed speculation about his wrestling future.

When directly asked about returning to WWE, Jericho delivered a straightforward response:

Of course I would consider returning to WWE. I would also consider not returning. It all depends on the situation, and where I am personally and professionally at that moment. It’s not a simple ‘never say never’, it’s more ‘evaluate all your options and choose wisely.’

Jericho revealed he would have entertained the idea of a WWE comeback even before the company’s recent internal changes. He expressed that with two major wrestling promotions now established in the market, it would be impractical not to consider all available opportunities.

The seasoned performer also highlighted his willingness to evolve throughout his career. From his early work in Japan to his transition into the music world as the frontman of Fozzy, Jericho pointed to his history of professional reinvention as a key factor in his longevity.

While continuing to serve as one of AEW’s most recognizable faces, Jericho maintains a practical outlook regarding his wrestling future. His track record of adaptation and surprise will likely influence whatever decisions he makes about the next phase of his in-ring career.
