According to WrestleTix, which tracks ticket sales for professional wrestling events, 15,745 tickets have been sold as of Wednesday afternoon. Only 1,413 seats remain available for the iconic New York City venue.
The announcement of the steel cage match between Punk and Rollins created immediate interest. WWE sold 3,357 tickets after revealing the headline attraction for the show.
The Madison Square Garden event features additional matches that have been officially announced for the card. WWE has scheduled a Tornado Tag Team Match pitting Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Jey Uso will face Grayson Waller in a singles match as part of the event. AJ Styles is also scheduled to appear, with WWE announcing he will call out United States Champion Logan Paul.
WWE is expected to add more matches and segments to the card in the days leading up to the show.
