Cody Rhodes makes shocking revelation about his WWE future

Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, shared his future plans during an appearance on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast. At 39 years old, Rhodes revealed that he doesn’t intend to continue wrestling full-time after age 45.

The champion addressed his goals:

I’m 39, and my contract will extend until I no longer want to perform full-time, definitely after 45. I’d like to stay involved in the Pro Wrestling universe, but in a different way.

Rhodes, who maintains his dominance in WWE after dethroning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, has successfully defended the title against AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, and Solo Sikoa. His next defense will be in a Ladder Match against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble 2025.

The Rock May Interfere with Roman Reigns’ Plans on RAW

Attention turns to The Rock and his possible interference in The Bloodline’s direction. The latest SmackDown brought elements suggesting new paths for WWE in 2025, especially after Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa were announced as the main attraction for RAW on Netflix.

The Rock is expected to appear on RAW’s premiere show, potentially finally confronting Roman Reigns. His last appearance was at Bad Blood 2024, where he delivered an enigmatic message involving Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso, ending with a count to three and a characteristic gesture.
