John Cena topped merchandise sales among WWE Superstars at Royal Rumble 2025. According to Fightful Select, while Rumble and company-themed merchandise maintained the highest overall sales, Cena’s items surpassed those of consistent top seller Cody Rhodes.
The shift marks a notable change, as Rhodes has dominated merchandise sales for the majority of recent years. Jey Uso secured the third position in sales rankings, with his merchandise experiencing a significant increase in online orders following his Royal Rumble victory.
Following his performance at the event, Cena returned to Budapest to continue filming Matchbox. He will make his next WWE appearance at the Elimination Chamber premium live event, where a victory would earn him a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41.
Cody Rhodes Retains Championship at Royal Rumble
Rhodes successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in a ladder match. The victory came after Rhodes delivered an Alabama Slam to Owens through a ladder, allowing him to climb and retrieve the title.
