Details Revealed About Adam Copeland’s Upcoming Plans in AEW

The status of Adam Copeland’s ring name in AEW was a point of focus during the most recent episode of Dynamite. While promotional graphics for the show displayed his full name, leading to speculation of a change, he was once again announced as simply ‘Cope’ for his in-ring segment, indicating the shortened name will continue to be used.

This followed his return at All In: Texas, where he appeared for the first time since the Dynasty pay-per-view. At the event, Copeland saved Christian Cage from a post-match attack by FTR, who were assisting The Patriarchy.

During his address to the crowd on Dynamite, Copeland clarified his actions. He stated his return was not to aid his old partner Christian Cage, but was driven by a desire to get his hands on FTR, the team that had betrayed him at Dynasty.

Before Copeland could elaborate, he was confronted by Stokely Hathaway, representing AEW management. Hathaway issued a stern warning, informing Copeland that due to numerous complaints regarding his conduct, any interference in FTR’s matches or affairs would result in his immediate termination from the company.

Copeland responded to the threat with defiance, attacking the security team that accompanied Hathaway and delivering a spear to the management representative. This act escalates his feud with FTR and adds a new layer of conflict with AEW authority figures.
