Disappointing Update On The Undertaker’s WWE Future

A new report from Superluchas clarifies that Jeremy Borash, not Triple H, leads AAA creative, with Konnan advising and The Undertaker in an unofficial capacity.

Disappointing Update On The Undertaker’s WWE Future

A report from Ernesto Ocampo of Superluchas has provided new details on the actual creative structure within AAA, identifying Jeremy Borash as the company’s main producer and Chief Creative Officer.

The report directly addresses the perception of Triple H’s role, stating that he has no actual creative involvement. This is contrasted with what the report describes as WWE’s narrative, which presents him as the “genius behind it all.”

According to the information, Borash is supported by Konnan, who serves in an advisory capacity due to being the most familiar with the company’s direction.

The Undertaker’s involvement was also clarified, with the report noting that he does not hold an official position within the company. Instead, his presence at events is attributed to his passion for the product and a desire to support the promotion.

This description of an informal role aligns with comments The Undertaker himself made in a June 22 interview with Sports Illustrated’s The TakeDown, where he discussed his hesitation to take on a formal, hands-on creative job. He noted the immense workload involved in the booking process.

“And the difficulty of booking TV shows is incredibly difficult,” The Undertaker stated. “I don’t think people realize how difficult it is to come up with ideas, implement them, think five months down the road, deal with talent, make sure they’re good with things, and talent days off—and trying to interweave all that is incredibly difficult.”

He confirmed he had been in creative meetings but would only commit to a more significant role under specific conditions, saying, “…it just has to work for everybody.”

Ocampo’s report summarized the current backstage hierarchy:

“What we know is that Triple H actually has no involvement in AAA’s creative side — but with WWE’s new narrative, it’s important for him to appear as the genius behind it all. The main producer and Chief Creative Officer is Jeremy Borash, supported by Konnan, who is the most familiar with the direction of the company, though he now acts more as an advisor. The Undertaker doesn’t really have an official position. He just wanted to attend AAA events and continue supporting them, and there’s no one as passionate about the product as he is.”
