Dominik Mysterio revealed he never received payment for his Street Fight against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2020. During an interview with No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, Mysterio suggested his mother might have taken the earnings from his WWE debut match.
“To make matters even worse, when I did stuff here in WWE, like SummerSlam. And I ended up getting paid for that. I never knew where the money went. I need to talk to her about that,” Mysterio stated during the interview.
The match marked a pivotal moment in Mysterio’s career, earning him backstage praise despite losing to Rollins. At the time, Mysterio portrayed a fan-favorite character, contrasting his current persona.
