The Don Callis Family significantly expanded its roster on the October 1 anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite, incorporating both the returning Andrade El Idolo and the newly revealed Evil El Clone. Both additions occurred on the same night, solidifying the group’s presence within the company.
The Evil El Clone’s allegiance was confirmed following the TNT Championship match between titleholder Kyle Fletcher and Orange Cassidy. Toward the end of the contest, an individual disguised as Hologram emerged and pushed Cassidy from the top rope. This interference allowed Fletcher to execute a brainbuster and secure the victory.
After the match, Fletcher and the disguised figure began an assault on Cassidy before The Conglomeration made the save. On the entrance ramp, the individual unmasked to reveal himself as the Evil El Clone, confirming his membership in the Don Callis Family as he stood with the rest of the faction.
Earlier in the broadcast, Andrade El Idolo made his own return to All Elite Wrestling. Following a promo from Kenny Omega, the arena lights went out. When they were restored, Andrade was in the ring and immediately attacked Omega, after which he shook Don Callis’s hand to formalize their new alliance.
Andrade’s reappearance establishes him as the first wrestler to leave AEW for WWE and subsequently make a full-time return to the promotion. According to a report from Fightful Select, he has signed a full-time contract and did not have a non-compete clause after his WWE departure in September. His most recent WWE run began in January 2024 and, per Jon Alba, concluded due to disciplinary reasons.
