Drew McIntyre Reportedly Unhappy About Not Competing for Any Titles at WrestleMania 41
In a recent interview with Adam’s Apple, Drew McIntyre voices disappointment about not competing for a world championship at WrestleMania 41 despite his prominent 2024 storylines.

Drew McIntyre has voiced his frustration about not being in a world title match at WWE WrestleMania 41. The comments came during a recent interview with Adam’s Apple when asked about his preparation for the event.
McIntyre specifically addressed his absence from the world championship picture at the upcoming premium live event. He referenced his storyline with CM Punk, claiming he did most of the work in their program.
Since I’m not in a world title match at WrestleMania, I know that in 2024, people were talking about me and CM Punk more than anyone—and I did 90% of that work. Good for Punk for being Punk, but Drew McIntyre was doing the f******* heavy lifting there. So yeah, I’m pissed off about not being in the world title match. But I’m going to make something happen. Between now and WrestleMania, I’ll make sure there’s a big match, a compelling story people are invested in, and I’ll make sure the match is f*******—because I’m Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre’s frustration follows his unsuccessful attempt to win the Elimination Chamber match earlier this month.
Based on the March 7th SmackDown, McIntyre appears to be building a program with Damian Priest that could culminate at WrestleMania 41.
Despite not competing for a world championship, McIntyre emphasized his determination to deliver a memorable performance at the event.
