Drew McIntyre Unleashes Vicious Attack On Former World Champion On WWE SmackDown In Italy
Drew McIntyre launched a brutal post-match assault on Damian Priest during SmackDown in Italy, vowing continued attacks and teasing a WrestleMania confrontation.

Damian Priest and Jimmy Uso defeated Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura in tag team action on Friday’s SmackDown in Italy. Priest secured the victory for his team by hitting the South of Heaven Chokeslam on Nakamura.
Following the match conclusion, McIntyre unleashed a sudden assault on Priest. The Scottish Warrior connected with a devastating Claymore Kick on the former World Heavyweight Champion.
During his attack, McIntyre made it clear this was just the beginning of his aggression toward Priest in the weeks ahead. He also hinted at a potential WrestleMania confrontation between the two competitors.
"I was supposed to compete for the title at WrestleMania, but because of you, I'm not. I won't forget this. Every time you get up, I'll put you down." – Drew McIntyre

This hostility stems from their recent history, as Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on McIntyre at WrestleMania 40 to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. Priest held the title until SummerSlam 2024, where Gunther defeated him after Finn Balor’s betrayal.
Priest has also eliminated McIntyre from both the Men’s Royal Rumble and Men’s Elimination Chamber matches in recent months, further intensifying their rivalry.
