One of the biggest surprises of the Thursday Night iMPACT! premiere on AMC, on January 15, was the debut of Elayna Black, previously known as Cora Jade in WWE. Black was introduced in the ring by fellow former WWE Superstar Daria Rae (Sonya Deville), who now serves in an authority role within TNA.
At TNA Genesis, two days later, Black appeared once again, confronting Lei Ying Lee after the TNA Knockouts World Champion defeated Zaria to retain her title. The following week, on iMPACT!, she officially announced her intention to dominate TNA and challenge for the company’s top championship.
Today, on January 28, TNA made a post on its official X account confirming that Black has officially signed her contract with the company.

In a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Black revealed that her contract with TNA is for one year.
Despite being in a new promotion, Black remains firmly in the spotlight of pro wrestling. During her time in WWE NXT, she became the youngest competitor in history to participate in a WarGames match and also held a reign as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
