Ex-WWE reveals turning point in Randy Orton's company career path
Maven Huffman reveals how Randy Orton’s transition to family life marked a significant change in his backstage behavior, transforming him from a troubled talent to a respected WWE veteran.

Former WWE star Maven Huffman has shed light on Randy Orton’s early career challenges, identifying a specific life event that transformed The Viper’s backstage reputation.
Speaking with James Romero on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Maven recalled the frequent behavioral issues that marked Orton’s early years in WWE. The former Hardcore Champion pointed to Orton’s transition to fatherhood as the catalyst for his personal growth.
“I guess when you’re that good, because Randy is that good, it doesn’t matter. He was in trouble all the time. We would have Johnny Ace pulling us aside almost every week, ‘God damn it, guys!'” Maven recounted, describing Orton’s conduct before starting a family.
Orton’s early career was marked by several controversial incidents, including reports of shooting fireworks at colleagues and damaging property. Despite these issues, the 14-time World Champion maintained his position within the company.
