NXT marked its history this week with the Homecoming special, a night filled with nostalgia and surprise appearances from past champions and main roster stars. But one name missing from the celebration—former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose—made her absence known.
Rose took to social media with a tongue-in-cheek response after being left off the show. On X, she shared a video captioned, “When you never got the invite to NXT Homecoming…” The clip played over audio that said, “Part of me feels so bad, but not that bad.”
The special leaned heavily on callbacks and returning faces. Former champions Sami Zayn and Finn Balor were featured, while Damian Priest and Bobby Roode also appeared in segments throughout the broadcast. The event even included Tyler Breeze’s first WWE match in more than four years, as he challenged Ethan Page for the North American Championship in a match that fit the “past-meets-present” theme.
Rose, absent from WWE programming since early 2023, has previously indicated interest in returning to the ring. Her playful post, however, suggested she isn’t waiting for an invitation to come.
