Hours before AEW Grand Slam: Australia at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, fans faced sign confiscations at the venue entrance. The restriction specifically targeted signs larger than A4 size paper, though no advance notice was provided to attendees.
A fan shared details of their confiscated signs on social media, which included messages such as “Remake John Woo’s Stranglehold,” “Flew Here to See RJ City,” “Where’s Silksong?” and “Rip Her Tits Off.” Another attendee clarified that the enforcement was based solely on size requirements rather than content.
No bigger than an A4 piece of paper is a pretty standard rule for bringing bags to events here in Australia. I didn’t expect it to count for signs though. Especially since people are being let in with replica title belts.
Since all my signs got confiscated at the entrance, here's what I had for #AEWGrandSlam
