Finn Bálor raises questions about Judgment Day leadership after WWE RAW victory

Finn Balor made surprising comments about The Judgment Day’s power structure following Monday Night RAW. After successfully defending the World Tag Team Championship with JD McDonagh against The War Raiders, Balor offered contradictory remarks about the faction’s leadership.

Despite The Judgment Day’s long-standing “no leader” philosophy since Edge’s departure in 2022, Balor’s backstage comments suggested otherwise. “Like I said, there are no leaders in The Judgment Day, but when people listen to Finn… things seem to go right around here, huh? Because we’re still the champs!” Balor stated after the match, which saw interference from Carlito and Dominik Mysterio.

Earlier in the night, Balor had gathered his stablemates for a pep talk, declaring an end to “fun and games” and emphasizing their status as a “happy, successful family.” The victory marked only the second televised title defense for Balor and McDonagh since capturing the championships from Awesome Truth on June 24, following their win over The New Day in September.

Balor further fueled discussion about The Judgment Day’s future with a recent Instagram post showing only himself, JD McDonagh, and Carlito, labeled as “The Judgment Day.”

The image notably excluded Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez, amid growing tension over World Heavyweight Championship opportunities within the group.

The faction has evolved significantly since its formation, originally starting with Edge, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest. Recent developments suggest more changes could be on the horizon for the six-member stable.
