Former AEW megastar set to debut in WWE in January

WWE aired a mysterious teaser on RAW this week featuring the number zero, sparking speculation about Pentagon Jr’s potential signing with the company. Wrestling insider WrestleVotes reports that sources within WWE indicate the segment was likely designed for the former AEW star.

“A source confirmed that’s likely Penta. You know, when they do these packages in house they’re trying to keep something a surprise,” WrestleVotes stated during a Q&A on Backstage Pass. The insider added that Pentagon Jr. could appear as soon as January 6th.

The zero shown in the video package aligns with Pentagon’s established “Zero Miedo” catchphrase. This development follows Pentagon Jr’s recent removal from the AEW roster page, fueling discussions about his future in professional wrestling.

Meanwhile, Rey Fenix, Pentagon’s brother and former tag team partner, has posted several messages on social media expressing dissatisfaction with AEW’s treatment. These statements reportedly garnered attention from WWE personnel, raising questions about potential plans for both members of the Lucha Bros.
