Former AEW TNT Champion Undergoes Name Change

Jack Perry's shocking return at All Out led to a tense confrontation with the Young Bucks, but it was his old partner who made the save.

Former AEW TNT Champion Undergoes Name Change

The transformation is complete. Following a wild reunion at last night’s All Out pay-per-view, AEW has officially reverted the name Killswitch back to Luchasaurus on its active roster page.

The shift came after Jack Perry, in his first appearance since November 2024, confronted the Young Bucks in the ring following their four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The tense standoff quickly turned into a two-on-one beatdown from Matt and Nick Jackson.

Just as the Bucks prepared to hit the BTE Trigger on a smiling Perry, the lights in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena cut out. A video package revealed Perry’s role in resurrecting his old partner, leading to Luchasaurus hitting the ring to make the save. In a final symbolic act, he ripped off the belt bearing his Killswitch moniker and tossed it to the fans, cementing his return to form.

With the Young Bucks dispatched, the iconic opening of Tarzan Boy hit the speakers, and the original Jurassic Express embraced in the center of the ring to a massive pop from the Toronto crowd.

This reunion officially closes the chapter that began when Luchasaurus turned on Perry in 2022, aligning with Christian Cage and adopting the Killswitch name. While Luchasaurus has reclaimed his identity, the official AEW roster still lists his partner as Jack Perry, not his original Jungle Boy persona.
