AJ Styles’ growing isolation on the WWE roster took center stage during an off-air segment on Monday Night Raw, and his comments have now drawn a response from his former O.C. partners.
In a fiery promo directed at the live Milwaukee crowd before his match, Styles claimed that someone in power is actively trying to sabotage his career by leaving him without allies. “For the first time in my career, I’ve got no one watching my back. Gallows, Anderson, they’re not here. Michin, she’s on SmackDown,” Styles stated. He then added, “It’s like someone orchestrated a way for me not to win anymore… I’ll let you make your own conclusions.”
The namedrop prompted a heartfelt reply on X from Michin, who now competes on the SmackDown brand. “I’ll have your back forever, Uncle Al,” she wrote.
Doc Gallows, who was released along with Karl Anderson in February 2025, took a more humorous approach to Styles’ intense promo. He posted, “I’m going to start charging royalties for #pipebombs.”
The promo adds another layer of intrigue to Styles’ current run. The Phenomenal One went on to defeat El Grande Americano after cutting the promo, but his long-term future remains a topic of discussion, with his current WWE contract reportedly set to expire around February 2026.
