Former Intercontinental Champion Set To Return At WWE Wrestlepalooza

After several weeks away from WWE television that sparked widespread speculation, Wade Barrett’s return is now confirmed. According to PWInsider, the commentator is scheduled to be back at the announce desk for this Saturday’s Wrestlepalooza event in Indianapolis.

The report addressed the uncertainty surrounding his absence, noting: “Wade Barrett is listed internally for the WWE broadcast team this weekend in Indianapolis. Barrett has been off TV for several weeks at his own request.” This clarification confirms his time away was a pre-approved personal break, dismissing rumors that he had been permanently removed from the broadcast team.

Barrett’s hiatus coincided with a public online dispute with Nikki Bella, which added further attention to his WWE status. Both parties have since resolved the matter publicly.

His return ensures a familiar voice at the desk for one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year. With Barrett back in place, the announce team is locked in for a card that includes the mixed tag team clash of CM Punk and AJ Lee against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
