Former TNA Champion Makes Shocking AEW Dynamite Debut

“Speedball” Mike Bailey has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. The high-flying competitor made his debut on the March 12 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Bailey appeared as the mystery Wild Card competitor in the AEW Dynasty International Championship Eliminator Tournament. He faced The Beast Mortos in the first-round match of the tournament.

The match featured fast-paced action between both competitors throughout the contest. Bailey secured the victory with a decisive kick to the head, advancing to the next round of the tournament.

Following his victory, Tony Khan announced Bailey had signed with AEW. The company president shared Bailey’s “All Elite” graphic on social media, confirming his official status with the promotion.

Bailey will now compete in a four-way match scheduled for the March 19 episode of Dynamite. The winner of this encounter will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at AEW Dynasty.

Prior to joining AEW, Bailey competed extensively in TNA Wrestling. He debuted at Hard To Kill 2022 and captured the X-Division Championship three times during his run with the company.

Bailey wrapped up his TNA commitments following their post-Bound For Glory tapings in October. He continued performing on the independent scene in the subsequent weeks.
