Former TNA Top Star Officially Signs with AEW

AEW announced Mike Bailey’s arrival through a vignette on the February 22 episode of Collision. Bailey, who completed his TNA tenure in October where he held the X-Division Championship three times, shared his thoughts on joining AEW.

I have been blessed for my whole career with unlimited support from all over the world,” Bailey wrote. “I can’t thank you all enough. My biggest accomplishment in life has been making every year my biggest year yet, and I am extremely excited to keep that going in AEW.

According to Fightful Select, Bailey’s TNA contract concluded at the end of 2024. The report notes that Bailey worked with an agent who fielded interest from both WWE and AEW.

The multi-year agreement became official in January, though visa-related matters currently in the approval process have delayed his in-ring debut.
