Former World Champion Claims WWE Shouldn’t Let The Rock Compete at WrestleMania 41

The Rock announced his upcoming appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto during SmackDown, where he addressed his position on the TKO Board of Directors and his interest in Cody Rhodes.

Bully Ray shared his perspective on The Great One’s potential WrestleMania involvement during Busted Open Radio:

Do I want The Rock to be at WrestleMania? With as entertaining as The Rock is and with what he can do for someone, of course, I want The Rock there. But this year, do they need The Rock there? Absolutely not. I believe that what they are doing now in the WWE, they don’t need him for that. And there’s going to come a time in WWE where they’re going to have to stop relying on the Rocks, the Austins, and the Undertakers of the world.

The Rock established his corporate authority on SmackDown by emphasizing his TKO Board position and expressing his desire for Cody Rhodes to be “his” champion. WWE confirmed The Final Boss will return at Elimination Chamber on March 1 at Rogers Centre to hear Rhodes’ response.
