Former WWE superstar Braun Strowman has suffered an injury setback at a complicated time in his career. “The Monster Among Monsters” revealed on his Instagram story that he has a broken wrist, posting a photo of the X-ray accompanied by a sarcastic “YAY ME!!” comment.
The injury comes just as Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, announced he was taking time away from the ring to focus on a new alcohol business venture. This career shift follows his second release from WWE, which occurred back in May 2025 as part of a wider series of talent cuts under the TKO Group.
At the time of his release, reports pointed to Strowman’s high-dollar contract as a primary factor in the company’s cost-cutting efforts. There were also reports citing concerns over his physical condition and in-ring movement following a significant prior injury.
Since becoming a free agent on August 1, Strowman has been vocal about his exit, at one point calling the move a “stupid business decision” by his former employer. While this broken wrist will force him onto the sidelines for now, it adds another layer of uncertainty to what the future holds for the former champion.
