The three-minute bout concluded with Shotzi defeating Dawn via an Ankle-Pick DDT in the closing seconds. Initially, Alba Fyre was scheduled to compete against Shotzi in this tournament matchup, though WWE made no mention of the reason for the substitution.
Shotzi advances to face Zoey Stark in the semifinals, following Stark’s victory over Kayden Carter in an earlier tournament match.
The winner of the tournament will challenge Candice LeRae for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.
