Former WWE Champion Recently Released Expected to Debut in TNA Soon

Indi Hartwell has unveiled her post-WWE aspirations during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, expressing interests that point toward TNA Wrestling as her potential next destination. Following her departure from WWE in November 2024, the former NXT Women’s Champion became a free agent on January 31, 2025.

During the interview, Hartwell emphasized her determination to establish a more prominent role in her next venture.

I feel like I’m a very creative person, and I’m showing that on my YouTube channel. I’m trying to show people an insight into the real me. With limited TV time, you don’t really get to show your personality, and I feel like it’s helping me get more supporters.

The Australian superstar further elaborated on her career aspirations, making it clear that she aims for a leading role rather than being part of the supporting cast.

I don’t want to just be another girl on the roster. I was happy to do that in WWE, but maybe it bit me in the a*s. I think I need to aspire for more. I don’t want to be another girl on the roster. I want to be the girl.

Indi Hartwell Wants to be The Knockout!

When discussing potential opponents, Hartwell specifically highlighted TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, suggesting her championship ambitions.

I haven’t done the whole ‘write the list of people you want to work with.’ That’s not really me. Who I want to wrestle will just coincide with what my goals are. I don’t want to be a girl on the roster. I don’t want to be a Knockout, I want to be the Knockout. Masha Slamovich is the Knockouts Champion—put her number one.

Since becoming a free agent, Hartwell has maintained an active presence on social media, launching new merchandise and entrance music in preparation for her return to in-ring competition. Her specific mention of the current TNA Knockouts Champion suggests she may have already set her sights on her next destination in Pro Wrestling.
