Former WWE star eyes potential matchup with Logan Paul

Vinny Pacifico revealed his perspective on a potential matchup with Logan Paul during a recent appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted podcast. The independent wrestler, who has performed across multiple promotions including AEW, ROH, and NJPW, discussed the marketing possibilities surrounding their respective energy drink promotions.

In conversation with hosts Dr. Chris Featherstone and Bill Apter, Pacifico shared insight about the potential marketing synergy between his G-Fuel promotion and Paul’s Prime energy drink brand.

You see, that’s something that Freddie Prinze Jr. mentioned on his show when I was there. He was like, what if Logan Paul does that, the same thing you do. I was like, ‘No no, don’t mention that.’ But that is funny. Well, I will say, his drink I don’t believe has as much caffeine as G-Fuel does.

Paul is scheduled to appear on the January 6 episode of RAW, which marks the show’s premiere on Netflix. The timing of any potential confrontation between the two performers remains uncertain as WWE continues to develop its programming schedule for the upcoming year.

AJ Styles retirement match speculation surfaces ahead of WrestleMania 41

Reports indicate AJ Styles could face Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41 in what might serve as his final match. Styles, currently recovering from a Lisfranc fracture sustained in October, faces contract negotiations as his current WWE agreement reportedly expires in early 2025, with potential extensions due to injury-related absence.

Before WrestleMania XL, Styles addressed his career trajectory in an interview with The Ringer:

I am nearing the end of my career and going to retire soon.

A match between Styles and Paul remains speculative, as neither WWE nor the performers have confirmed such plans. The potential bout would align with WWE’s tradition of established performers contributing to the development of rising talent.
