Giulia captures NXT Women's Championship
Giulia wins her first championship since her WWE debut in 2024.
In the opening match of NXT New Year’s Evil, currently being broadcast on the CW Network, Roxanne Perez defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia.
Both wrestlers came extremely well-prepared for the match, as evidenced by the great balance demonstrated from start to finish.
Giulia, however, emerged victorious after executing a “Northern Lights Bomb” on Perez, followed by the pinfall.
With this victory, the Italian-Asian wrestler captures her first title in WWE.
Stephanie Vaquer becomes new ahallenger for the NXT Women’s North American Championship
Another newcomer who achieved a significant result at New Year’s Evil was Chilean wrestler Stephanie Vaquer, who became the new challenger for the NXT North American Women’s Championship, currently held by Fatal Influence member Fallon Henley.
Vaquer earned her opportunity by winning a Fatal 4-Way Match, where she defeated former champion Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, and Cora Jade.
The date for Vaquer’s championship opportunity has not yet been determined.
