Their rivalry dates back nearly two decades, including a shocking 2016 Survivor Series win for Goldberg. Lesnar later avenged the loss by capturing the Universal Championship from him at WrestleMania 33.
While Lesnar has been absent from WWE for nearly two years amid reported legal issues, Goldberg hasn’t wrestled in over three years. His tweet simply read, ‘One hell of a night.’
