Kevin Nash has expressed strong support for Paul Levesque’s creative leadership in WWE. The period since WrestleMania has been increasingly recognized as the “Triple H era” following Vince McMahon’s departure from creative duties.

On his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash addressed Michael Cole’s public acknowledgment of the current period as Triple H’s era. His comments reflected on the significance of this recognition:

The Triple H era. I was happy because last week we talked about this, and sometimes I feel biased, so I gave credit to Endeavor. I don’t want to appear like I’m just praising my friend at every opportunity. It was good to see Michael Cole say that we’re in the Triple H era.

Nash continued with additional perspective on Levesque’s impact:

It’s the Paul Levesque era. You can call him Triple H if you want. It’s Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, I think that’s how they presented it. But it’s the Triple H era because people work for him, run through walls for him. He understands everything.

Triple H outlines vision for RAW’s Netflix transition

Building on the momentum of WWE’s current direction, Triple H addressed the upcoming move to Netflix during the WWE RAW on Netflix Kickoff event. Speaking about the platform transition, he shared his vision:

With the world’s largest streaming platform as our partner, we’ll become bigger than ever. On January 6, it’s not just RAW’s premiere. It’s a worldwide WWE relaunch. I promise to bring the biggest stars, the biggest stories, and things you’ve never seen before.

Reflecting on WWE’s current position, Triple H offered additional insight:

It’s a global product with a global fan base. I can look at the roster and say I’ve never seen a more talented group of men and women from top to bottom than we have right now. I’ve never seen this company have more global appeal than we have right now.

He also highlighted the developmental work of Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom in NXT, emphasizing the company’s promising future trajectory.

Sabu expressed skepticism about the WWE Hall of Fame during an appearance on Donut Shop Chronicles. The former ECW World Heavyweight Champion addressed fan speculation about his potential induction into the prestigious institution.

The ECW legend reflected on his career achievements before sharing his perspective about the Hall of Fame:

It will probably never happen. I do not consider myself eligible for the WWE Hall of Fame, and I honestly have no interest in being a part of it, as I do not feel that my time with the company was sufficient to deserve such an honor.

When discussing fan support for his induction, Sabu pointed to perceived inconsistencies in the selection process:

I appreciate the love. Rob Van Dam deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, but Drew Carey? Does Drew Carey really deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame? If he’s there, that makes the whole thing a sham.

Sabu’s career peaked in ECW from 1991 to 2000, where he captured the ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice. His tag team success included three ECW World Tag Team Championship reigns – two with Rob Van Dam and one alongside The Tasmaniac.

Chris Van Vliet predicts Seth Rollins as Cena’s opening Farewell Tour opponent

As discussions around Cena’s final run continue, wrestling interviewer Chris Van Vliet shared his thoughts on a potential first opponent.

On his INSIGHT podcast, Van Vliet suggested Seth Rollins as the ideal candidate to kick off Cena’s farewell series:

It feels like a great first opponent for him, and I’m not talking storyline here, or just throw him in the ring with this person, and you know it’s gonna be great. Seth Rollins. I think John Cena is gonna have a match with Seth Rollins at some point in time in 2025. I could see that being his first match.

Triple H better than The Rock to lead WWE creative team for this reason, explains WWE legend

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash highlights Triple H’s hands-on approach and talent loyalty as key advantages over potential Rock-led creative direction.

Kevin Nash recently provided insight into why Triple H remains the ideal choice to lead WWE’s creative direction. Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Nash emphasized the significance of Triple H’s meticulous attention to detail in production.

The WWE Hall of Famer referenced a specific example of Triple H’s hands-on approach:

They brought back [Shinsuke Nakamura] and they were working out his entrance. It was on Instagram. And they showed Paul walking the production people through what he wanted. ‘I want it lit not so much on the top, but underneath.’ And he walked them through this entire process of what he saw personally for this guy’s entrance. And I was just like… that’s what makes the difference between good and great: Detail. And he’s dialing this f***in’ in, and I’m saying to myself, Dwayne doesn’t have the time for that.

Nash further elaborated on Triple H’s unique connection with talent:

It’s the Triple H era because… people will run through f***ing walls for him. He gets it. And that’s the intangible that Brian Gewirtz or Dwayne, they’re not going to have.

Leadership Dynamics and Future Direction

The discussion of WWE’s creative leadership comes amid speculation about potential changes in the company’s structure. While The Rock’s increased involvement has led to discussions about future creative control, Nash’s perspective highlights the practical challenges of leadership transition.

The Rock’s numerous business commitments and acting career present natural limitations to hands-on involvement in WWE’s day-to-day operations. Meanwhile, Triple H’s extensive experience running NXT and subsequent leadership of WWE creative since 2022 has demonstrated his capability to manage the company’s creative direction effectively.

Recent production work, particularly with talent entrances and presentation, exemplifies the detailed approach that Nash believes separates Triple H’s leadership style. This attention to detail, combined with strong talent relationships, suggests a continuation of the current creative direction under Triple H’s guidance.
