Hulk Hogan Accused of Trivializing Serious Family Drama

Former WWE writer Vince Russo has publicly condemned Hulk Hogan’s reaction to a recent emotional video posted by his ex-wife Linda Hogan. During an appearance on “The Wrestling Outlaws,” Russo took issue with Hogan filming himself eating popcorn while viewing Linda’s distressed outburst.

Hogan needs to grow up. You consegue imaginar? When I’m watching Linda Hogan’s video, certain things cross my mind. First, my own wife. No matter how much you hate her, can you imagine taking someone you were married to, the mother of your children, to this mental state? Second, I hope she doesn’t do anything stupid. That was clearly rock bottom, and I’m just praying it doesn’t go beyond that. Then this guy makes a video with his sixth wife, eating popcorn. Seriously? After all the bad publicity he’s had, can you imagine if he posts this video and, God forbid, Linda Hogan took her own life? Do you understand what that would do to him?

The family discord began when Linda revealed she hasn’t spoken with daughter Brooke in nearly eight years, blaming Hulk Hogan for the estrangement. Brooke responded that she distanced herself from her mother following years of mistreatment. Linda subsequently accused Brooke of alcohol issues and claimed her daughter had broken her clavicle during an incident.

Brooke’s husband, Steven Oleksy, defended his wife by denying the allegations regarding alcohol consumption. Russo concluded his criticism by characterizing Hulk Hogan as an egomaniac unable to stay out of the spotlight regardless of circumstances.
