During the main event of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa inadvertently struck Tama Tonga with a Samoan Spike while targeting Cody Rhodes. The incident occurred during a Triple Threat Match featuring Jacob Fatu, Braun Strowman, and Damian Priest, with the winner qualifying for the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match.
Prior to the match, Sikoa expressed support for Fatu and interfered in the contest to assist him. The situation escalated when Rhodes entered the fray, leading to a brawl with Sikoa. During this chaos, Sikoa’s attempted Samoan Spike on Rhodes connected with Tonga instead.
The mishap played a role in the match’s outcome, as Priest secured victory by pinning Strowman, earning his spot in the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match while Fatu failed to qualify.
This latest development follows Sikoa’s recent loss of the Ula Fala to Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat on RAW. Sikoa made his return to WWE programming on last week’s SmackDown, where he attacked Rhodes following a tag team match that paired The American Nightmare with Jey Uso against Tonga and Fatu.
