On the Valentine’s Day episode of SmackDown at the Capital One Arena, Cody Rhodes opened the show and addressed the Elimination Chamber competitors. Drew McIntyre interrupted Rhodes, expressing his displeasure at being only briefly mentioned when discussing the premium live event’s participants.
McIntyre reminded Rhodes of their encounter from February 19th, 2024, where he emerged victorious over the current Undisputed WWE Champion. The confrontation took a new turn when Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of The New Bloodline made their way to the ring.
Fatu, who received a strong crowd reaction, addressed his upcoming Triple Threat match against Damian Priest and Braun Strowman for an Elimination Chamber qualifying spot. He briefly referenced Solo Sikoa’s attack from the previous week before being interrupted by Sikoa himself.
As tensions rose, Fatu prevented Rhodes from intervening in his business with Sikoa. Rhodes acknowledged Fatu’s priority but stated that while Fatu might have the first word with Solo, the Undisputed WWE Champion would have the last.
Given Jacob Fatu’s reaction to Solo Sikoa’s latest appearance on tonight’s SmackDown, it seems clear that he is not satisfied with Sikoa’s actions and will take matters into his own hands.
