Jerry Lawler Recovering from Another Serious Health Scare

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler is recovering at home after suffering a stroke last Friday, September 5. The medical incident occurred at one of his homes in Florida, with his daughter later confirming the news in a statement provided to TMZ Sports.

The timing of the stroke forced Lawler to immediately cancel a scheduled appearance at the HorrorHound Weekend convention in Cincinnati, which was set to begin that same day. Initial reports on his condition are positive.

This marks the latest in a series of significant health battles for the 75-year-old legend. Lawler previously suffered strokes in 2018 and a more severe one in 2023, in addition to the major heart attack he survived on the air during the September 10, 2012, episode of Monday Night RAW.

According to the family’s statement, Lawler is expected to return to his normal routine after a few more weeks of rest and recovery.

The King was last seen on WWE programming back in February, appearing in the crowd during an episode of SmackDown in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
