The newly crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to appear on tonight’s edition of RAW. The confirmation came directly from RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, who announced Jey Uso would be part of the April 21 broadcast.
Jey Uso captured the World Heavyweight Championship during the opening contest of WrestleMania 41. His victory over Gunther on Saturday marked a significant career milestone as he secured one of WWE’s premier championships during the company’s biggest premium live event.
Tonight’s RAW from Las Vegas will also feature John Cena, who was previously announced for the show. This places two of WWE’s most prominent figures on the same broadcast following the conclusion of WrestleMania weekend.
The appearance marks Jey Uso’s first RAW since claiming championship gold, giving the WWE Universe their first opportunity to see the new titleholder address his victory on the red brand. With both the new champion and the veteran superstar confirmed for the T-Mobile Arena show, WWE has positioned the post-WrestleMania edition of RAW as a significant broadcast following the company’s marquee event.
