John Cena Announced for Major Premium Live Event After WrestleMania 41

WWE has announced that John Cena and Randy Orton will appear at Backlash 2025, scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

The premium live event marks a significant milestone for Cena, who will make his first Backlash appearance since 2009 as part of his ongoing farewell tour.

For Orton, the St. Louis show represents a homecoming, as he returns to compete in his hometown.

Tickets for Backlash go on sale Friday, March 21 at 10 AM CT via Ticketmaster. Fans can sign up for early access to the presale beginning March 19 at 10 AM CT.

WWE is building on momentum from last year’s record-breaking Backlash in France, which generated the largest arena gate in company history at that time.

While no matches have been confirmed, the presence of both Cena and Orton at the same premium live event has sparked discussion about a potential final confrontation between the two legendary rivals.

Priority Passes offering premium seating, pre-show hospitality, WWE Superstar meet-and-greets, and ringside photo opportunities are available through On Location.

St. Louis has previously hosted major WWE premium live events including Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, and Survivor Series.
